Al started woodcraft in Shetland, with his business Atlantic Drift, creating craft items and gifts. His focus is now on making simple but useful items, and has developed a range of products for the garden helping gardeners and growers to use less plastic, and return to more traditional products. In future, Al hopes to use more of our own croft-grown timber for woodcraft, which will mean learning new green woodworking skills and crafts. Watch this space!
Al’s new Timbertunnel business has meant that these woodcraft items have taken a bit of a back seat for now, but they are still available from time to time.
